Association "Econtrar+se"

The portuguese Association Encontrar+se is launching move "Together to help"

It launched the movement UPA - United to Help, part of the awareness campaign of Encontrar+se, Association of Support for People with Severe Mental Disorder.

Under the slogan "Stand up against the discrimination of mental illness", the movement entered into a combination project of the Portuguese music, through partnership with influential personalities of Portuguese musical scene.

So, every month, two persons of the national music will collaborate in the recording of a song referring to the themes proposed by Encontrar+se, taking place on the basis of two conflicting concepts.

The association seeks so alert to the need for a change of mentality in the way mental illness is seen among us. "The UPA search of a responsible and happy, to get people to take the small step that makes all the difference in the understanding and acceptance of mental illness.

This "get up against" is all directed to people who do not accept, delay, deny and live in suffering because of mental illness as for any of us who still deal with this evil reality, 'says Filipa Palha, coordinator of the Project Encontrar+se!

So GET UP!
